I currently work as a cover supervisor at Brighouse High School working with children aged 11-18. I cover a range of lessons due to staff absence but the main lessons I cover are Drama and Dance (both in Schools and Sixth Form). Alongside these lessons I have my own Drama class of Year 7 pupils. I really enjoy teaching the subject not only to the children who have a natural flair for the subject but also those who lack confidence. Whilst being at the school I have also worked as a Learning Support Assistant helping those children with special educational needs. Working at a school also means I have an up to date CRB check and have various training in behaviour and management. I also volunteered in various other primary schools as well as Calderdale Play Service.

I graduated from University last year in Sociology and Criminology. My degree allowed me to look at children through an education perspective. I am an energetic and creative individual who loves working with children. As I work in a school and have no commitments at home or holidays booked and will be available for the entire school holidays (breaking up on the 20th July).

I currently live in Hipperholme, Halifax but do have access to a car and I would be prepared to travel a good distance for work.
