Summer Term 2017
With our 'When I Grow Up' theme, Early Stages will be learning to fight injustice and always choose kindness through the study of Roald Dahl's beautiful 'Matilda'.
Students will take on the kind characters of Matilda and Miss Honey and investigate why Miss Trunchbull is so rotten! Of course, they are far from being 'Revolting Children' but this summer term they might be 'A Little Bit Naughty'.
Main Stages ‘Hot off the Press!’ theme, will be all about what's happening in the world of theatre right now.
Reviewing new material from talented writers and trying exciting new techniques from popular companies such as Frantic Assembly (Physical Theatre) and Kneehigh (Music and Theatre Combined).
We will also be looking at new musicals like 11 times Tony-Award winning 'Hamilton', to the growing success of current jukebox and film musicals such as 'American Idiot' and 'School of Rock'. There will be plenty to keep the students at the centre of it all - what’s fresh, what’s vibrant, what’s ‘Hot off the Press!’
