Having been quick to adapt to a virtual format when the first lockdown was announced, over the past 12 months Dramatis Community Drama School has run a range of online activities to help support local children with their mental wellbeing. Last night BBC South recognised the work of the school and its students in THIS FEATURE.

Having moved to an online format during lockdown, the unexpected highlight of our new programme was the introduction of an adults play-reading group; ‘Wine and Wilde’. This online activity had such an overwhelming response, that we decided to keep it running post-lockdown.

We want to introduce as many children as we can to the world of drama and so are running a series of FREE workshops during Autumn half-term.

In partnership with Young and Talented, participants will train to perform for stage and screen in a series of online masterclass workshops with Suzann McLean (Founder and Artistic Director of Young and Talented), as well as guest tutors from Guildhall School, RADA and a number of other industry professionals.
