Passionate about the arts
Looking for a business opportunity where you get to work in an inspiring and thriving sector? Choose your own hours and be your own boss but receive all the support and training you need to run your own part-time theatre school.
Michael French, Principal of Razzamataz Barnet:
“Having worked in musical theatre for 12 years I needed to move on, but I wanted to stay in the same industry which I love. I would recommend a franchise business to anyone who is looking into opening a business but has no knowledge of how to do it.”
Razzamataz Theatre School was created in 2000 to make performing arts available to children and young people to offer the current trends in both musical theatre and the commercial genre.
Razzamataz offers exceptional training in dance, drama and singing together with exciting opportunities to perform as well as welcoming guest workshops with industry experts such as Ashley Banjo from Diversity.
The classes cover everything from traditional West End and Broadway musicals through to street dance, pop singing and acting for camera.
The classes are open to all children from the ages of 2 to 18. The Razzamataz ethos of creating an environment where every student should have the opportunity to be energetic, to gain confidence and to make friends whilst having lots of fun is evident in all the schools across the UK.
There are almost 50 Razzamataz schools creating not only a place that positively impacts young people’s lives but also interesting and rewarding careers for the franchisees who become the schools’ Principals.
A huge part of the network’s success is down to the highly tuned operating systems that have been refined and developed over the last 17 years of business. Razzamataz works with experts in the fields of PR & Marketing, Social Media, Child Protection and many more.
Kayleigh Redford, Principal of Razzamataz Newcastle:
“I’ve learned so many new things that if I had started out on my own, I would have really struggled to understand them all.”
Want more flexibility
Razzamataz Franchisees fit their businesses around their lives, not the other way around.
Whether it’s taking the stress out of doing the school runs every day or working part-time elsewhere, they each find the routine that suits them.
Be your own boss
Want to take all the school holidays off to be with your children? We have many parents within our network who are finding a good work/life balance.
Claire Blower, Razzamataz Mansfield and Nottingham:
“I launched in September 2011 when my daughter Holly was six and Freya had just turned one. The best aspect of being my own boss is flexibility. Although having structure is important the majority of the work can be done at any time. If things don't go according to plan I can always be there for them. If they are poorly or something special is happening at school, I can be there - without having a boss to answer to.”
