From Rickmansworth Drama school to Broadchurch
From Blag Drama School to Broadchurch
Who killed 'Danny Latimer’ is the question that is on everybody's lips and Richard and Lynn Beaumont are no exception even though their 17 year old daughter Charlotte plays rebellious sister Chloe in the hit ITV Drama “Broadchurch”.
Charlotte who attends Blag Youth Drama School in Rickmansworth has been acting since the age of six and has been working professionally since she was 12.
Even though Charlotte knows the killer she is sworn to secrecy and her parents are among the millions tuning into ITV each Monday to discover the truth.
Working on Broadchurch has been the highlight of Charlotte’s career so far and to be among such a sterling cast has been a huge learning curve for her and one that she will not forget in a hurry.
During her acting career she has been fortunate to work in Theatre, TV and Film. Her love of drama began from a very early age when she used to watch her parents teach the children at Blag. She has till recently been an active member of Blag Youth Theatre and has done 9 summer projects and numerous productions with the Rickmansworth based school as well as performing in the Watford Festival and the Rickmansworth Canal Festival.
At Blag she learnt the skills needed to start her off in an industry that is both highly competitive and charged with excitement. Though Charlotte is an actress first and foremost she has loved being part of the Blag choir performing regularly with the award winning group. With such a busy schedule it is amazing that she was able to take part in the recent John Lyons School production of Les Mis where she played the role of Eponine.
Charlotte is a pupil at Royal Masonic School in Rickmansworth and is hoping to complete her A levels this summer however this may prove more difficult than first hoped as she has just bagged herself a part in the film “Jupiter Ascending” and will be jetting off to Chicago for filming in July. Let’s hope she has time to pack her suitcase!
