Theatretrain Sutton offers professional theatre training for 4-18 years old in a way that is both fun and effective.More than a drama club, a dance school or a singing group, our performing arts classes give children and young people a place to explore the world and create performances.
This process gives them life skills that will help them whether they want a career in the performing arts or the confidence to thrive in the real world. All the world’s a stage after all!

Dance
It’s more than steps! We teach the technique of movement in a variety of styles. Dancers learn to engage their thinking and feeling.
Act
It’s more than making up scenes. Our performers learn to create characters, develop situations and use atmosphere and focus to make it happen NOW.
Sing
It’s more than singing a song together. Our performers learn to bring feelings to give to their audience and how to tell the story.
Theatretrain Sutton welcomes aspiring performers from Sutton and surrounding areas including, Carshalton, Carshalton Beeches, Wallington, Belmont, Banstead, Coulsdon, Cheam, Morden and Mitcham, who want to learn how to take their ideas and feelings and express them through acting, dancing and singing.

Theatretrain Sutton Classes
Saturday at Times Various
Drama, dance and singing classes in Sutton
Venue: Barrow Hedges Primary School, Harbury Road, Carshalton, London. SM5 4LA
TT Minis
4-6 year olds
Saturdays from 10:15 - 11:45
In 90 minutes our young performers cover all three disciplines and learn the basic skills of imagination and stagecraft.
TT Tinies
3-4 year olds
Saturdays 10:15-11am
45 Minute classes to introduce make believe through words, voice movement and attitude.
Main school
Saturdays 10:00-13:00
These classes are divided into the following age groups: 6-9 year olds, 9-12 year olds, and 13-18 year olds.
Usually our biggest class where students come together in their age groups to learn ensemble songs, work on their acting skills and dance their socks off!
These classes become rehearsals for performance for the second part of the year.
All students have the chance to perform every year.
Advanced Acting
9-18 years old
This weekly 2 hour class is for those performers who want to work with a group on challenging work. Hard work but fun and illuminating.
These classes become rehearsals for performances later in the year.
