More and more schools are writing their own material in an attempt to keep things bright and original. One such school is Best Theatre Arts in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Their recent production of ‘DreamCatcher’ was so successful that it is now available for other schools to perform (Subject to performance rights) The musical play tells the story of a little girl and her ‘Dreamcatcher’, check out the Scripts page for more information. Blag youth Theatre in Hertfordshire are also keen to give their students unique scripts. They tailor make all their productions to suit the cast and to entertain the parents! Each child gets a speaking part giving them a chance to shine. Blag’s scripts are also available for performance subject to the usual consents.
