ARTEMIS BOURNEMOUTH ARTEMIS PERFORMANCE ARTS SUMMER DRAMA SCHOOL COURSE IN BOURNEMOUTH FOR ADULTS 16YRS – 60+  We offer 6 One Day Workshops in basic Acting skills and theatre craft.  All are professionally led by Christina Artemis (LGSM&D) and other experienced actor / teachers. Since the focus is on building confidence, self esteem and self development, this course is ideal for anyone considering going into theatre either as a future career or for enjoyment of the craft itself. There are 40 – 50 hours tuition. Artemis Performance Arts is not an amateur company, but courses are available to all in the community even if students have little or no experience.   Each workshop covers a specific subject and is progressive, so attendance is required on all days. Subjects are:  Voice , Breath work, projection and stage craft Physical Theatre, movement, dance Characterisation and emotional  resources Working with script and how to develop roles Putting it all into practice Continue putting into practice and Completion   During every workshop, we will be working dynamically with improvisation, group work and individual work. This course provides an induction to gain membership into the Artemis Community Theatre Company. There are opportunities for students to audition for any future productions and further training is available once the induction phase is complete.   Cost: £55 per workshop  ( Total fee: £330 ) Concessions available for 10 places only at £30 per workshop.( proof needed) A non refundable deposit is required of £55 from everyone. Payments can be made prior to each workshop on an ongoing basis.
