Chicago Teen Edition Auditions

Auditions for Chicago Teen edition are open to students aged 11-18. The production will take place at The Duchess Theatre, Long Eaton on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of January 2022, with a rehearsal at the theatre on Thursday 6th.
Rehearsals take place every Saturday between 11am-1pm at Redhill Academy in Arnold. We charge a one-off show fee for our productions which covers room rental and other production costs. For this production the show fee is £80 which can be paid gradually in instalments. There may be additional show rehearsals scheduled, often including a full day between Christmas and New Year and this will be confirmed closer to the time.
This fantastic show will be a lot of fun to put on. Dancing is an important part in much of the show and this is why there will be a dance workshop audition, however strong singer/actors are still encouraged to apply as not all characters will need to dance. We are especially keen to welcome more boys to audition for our productions.
Auditions will take place on September the 18th from 11am but there will also be a workshop session on September the 11th (11am-1pm) to learn more about the show, learn some choreography, collect audition pieces and go through anything else regarding rehearsals etc.
