ORIGINATE Actor Training

Applications are OPEN for the ORIGINATE Actor Training 2021/22!

Deadline: Thursday 30th September 2021

FREE training for 17-23 year olds from RADA, Guildhall School, Young & Talented and Theatre Peckham.

The Course:

Home to the BAFTA Rising Star Award Winner 2021 Bukky Bakray, the course will train students to perform for stage and screen in a series of masterclass workshops with Suzann McLean (Founder and Artistic Director of Young and Talented), as well as guest tutors from Guildhall School, RADA and a number of other industry professionals.

The course will culminate in participants devising together in-studio to create a short film with a professional writer, director, filmmaker and editor. There will be a screening of the film for invited guests including industry professionals. 

The Future:

Originate allows young actors to build on their acting technique, their confidence as a performer, create industry connections, build a network of collaborators and it introduces them to the rigour and joy of drama school training. 

63% of Originate Actors 2019/20 were approached by industry professionals within two weeks of their showcase.
