The Newson Academy in Byfleet goes from strength to strength

Latest News from The Newson Drama Academy Byfleet.

Last year ended with “Puss in Boots” at the Marist School Theatre in Dec 2013 this was our very first full length pantomime and it was a fantastic success, well worth all the hard work in the final run on show day. All the children and teenagers at the Academy rose to the challenge of performing and we raised £100 for Woking Hospice and £100 LMBBS (an eye charity)

In March 2014 we will be taking LAMDA Examinations
The next LAMDA exam sessions at The Newson Academy will be held on Saturday 29th March and Sunday 30th March, venue to be confirmed, so there is still time to enrol in our classes if you would like your child to enter.

At our school we like to have Mock LAMDA exams with written feedback, these will be on Saturday 1st March and marked by Mr Adam Armstrong Llam. This is such a valuable opportunity for everyone to have a dry run of the examination process.

We are delighted to announce being back in the Rhoda McGaw Theatre for our performance of “Wind in the Willows”.

Easter drama workshops 9.30am to 1.30pm with a showing 1.30pm to 2pm on the last day, theme is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Our workshops are open to children aged 4 to 11 years old not just current pupils.
