Our specialist modules are packed full of tips that Pauline has learnt from nearly 50 years in the business. Students also have great opportunities to perform in West End shows and on screen through Quirky Kidz casting agency as part of academy membership.

Film & Television is an integral part of PQA for our students and a unique part of the PQA experience.

Film and Television classes ExeterThe Film & Television experience at PQA gives children and young people an excellent introduction to development, pre-production and production techniques by making, screening and broadcasting short films of their own.

Students take on roles in front of and behind the camera and work in production company teams.

This module offers students a useful set of practical filmmaking skills and skills for life in teamwork, communication, problem-solving and builds confidence.

Our Musical Theatre module is a combination of acting, singing and dance classes for kids and young adults which is an exciting way to tell a story.

Drama classes for children ExeterOur Comedy & Drama classes for kids and young adults are designed to explore the many theatrical forms and techniques that create exciting and interesting pieces for the stage.

Students are encouraged to explore different staging options, including 'in-the-round', 'promenade' and even site-specific work – all designed to give them the broadest acting tuition possible.

Poppets is our performing arts experience for four and five-year-olds. These 90-minute sessions are designed to encourage young children to develop performance and communication skills as they create and explore stories, songs, roles and situations through the use of acting, movement, music, voice, dance, and teamwork.
