Stoke Newington School has welcomed Stagecoach and made us feel at home.
We have been here since February 2012 as a sudden need to change venues arose and although we were very sad to say goodbye to the old church that had housed us for 4 years the move has taken our school to a different level.Our venue offers our students the opportunity to work regularly in their wonderful theatre where they can hone their skills in drama by way of voice projection and stage direction which enables them to give a more confient performance.
There is a dance studio with mirrors which assists both the teacher and students in achieving stronger lines and positioning with a keen eye from their dance coach they can correct their posture and again perform with more courage.Singing is now in a more comfortable space with room to work on both vocal and movement for performance.
We have a wonderful performing arts room for our Early Stagers with so much more space to move about and this really has given them a secure space in which to learn performanc skill and have fun at the same time.
