Sussex Youth Theatre provides weekly drama and singing classes to children in Sussex. The Youth Theatre has several different locations throughout Sussex including Shoreham, Pulborough, East Preston, Littlehampton and Worthing.

The main philosophy of Sussex Youth Theatre SYT is to learn professional skills in a focused and disciplined manner within a happy, supportive family atmosphere.

Whether you love to sing, act, dance, work backstage or just have a passion for putting a production together, then SYT is for you.

We are an independent Drama company offering Youth Theatre's throughout Sussex in Steyning, Shoreham, Pulborough, East Preston, Littlehampton and Worthing and as such can give much more to our students. Click HERE to try our TASTER sessions.

We can nurture their talents, see them grow and don’t have the pressure of hitting targets set by someone else who doesn’t understand the group we are working with. That said, we work really hard with them and will expect them to give back even more.

All in all it will be a great artistic experience, whether they are wanting to become a professional in the Entertainment Industry or just want to gain more confidence and further their communication skills.

We aim to produce two shows per year, a Summer production and also a Christmas show. We also have special guests throughout the year to further the skills of the students. 

SYT Managment 

Our SYT students have been lucky enough to have filmed with Dame Maggie Smith, Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, Benedict Cumberbatch, David Walliams, Susan Boyle, Francis De La Tour and Catherine Tate on the productions ‘Downton Abbey’, ‘Molly Moon’, ‘Pride’, ‘Family Ties’, ‘Vampire Academy’, ‘Big School’, ‘The Imitation Game’, ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’,’Before I Go To Sleep’,’The Woman In Black-Angel Of Death’ and companies as iconic as the BBC, ITV, CH4 and major independent film production companies.

Sussex Youth Theatre’s Pure Vocal Group 

For students wishing to join our vocal group all we ask is be committed and have a drive and passion for singing.

We will guide you on the journey to improve your voice and enhance your performance skills. There will be lots of fun along the way and it’s obviously a great opportunity to not only improve your natural talent but to meet new friends, gain confidence and become more creative.
