Welcome to the Hunt Academy for Young Actors in Leigh-On-Sea

HAYA is a part time Drama School in Leigh-On-Sea for young actors. We provide professional actor training for young people aged 5 - 25. 

We create a safe, professional and fun environment for our young actors to learn and develop

• With a strong emphasis on the individual at the core of what we do. We provide the highest standard of actor training modelled on the leading drama schools and tailored for:

        Juniors 8-12 and Seniors 13-18 

• Our workshops include Voice and Speech, Improvisation, Comedy, Stage Combat, Classical Performance, Audition Technique, Physical Theatre, Masterclasses from visiting Industry Professionals, Annual Theatrical Showcases, LAMDA Exam Coaching, Professional Headshot Sessions.

Our weekly workshops take place in Leigh-On-Sea at:
Salvation Army, Glendale Gardens, Elm Rd, Leigh-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea SS9 2AR

Mondays

Minis - 4-5
Juniors - 4.30-6.30
Seniors -6.30 - 8.30
HAYA+ - 8.30-10.00

Our fantastic teachers have extensive experience in all sides of the industry including, acting in theatre, film and tv, as well as writing, directing and producing.

Our fabulous associates and industry guests often run specialist workshops and master -classes. This provides an opportunity for our young actors to meet a wide range of people from the industry and experience different ways of working.
