Performing Arts is so much more than just learning dance steps – or passing exams! It’s all about learning how to face an audience with confidence. When you learn to sing a song, you must learn how to tell the story too! So, we need to be trained in acting to do this. And then, when we can tell the story, we need to move to the music of the song! So, we need to learn how to dance!
Once you put these three ingredients together – you will have a child full of confidence, raring to go! And this is where THEATRETRAIN will rehearse a production with the whole school and finally take them to either a Local Theatre or a West End Theatre to show people what they can do!
Our schools are about fun and the excitement of being on a stage!
So, every year our pupils are involved in fantastic shows!
Theatretrain Exeter is for children between the ages of 4 and 18yrs and runs every Saturday during term time, 10am - 1pm. No experience necessary and no auditions - just lots of enthusiasm!
DANCE! ACT! SING! With the very best!
Working as a team our weekly drama, dance and singing classes are fun, build confidence and develop the imagination.
As the company that loves to perform we provide many opportunities for ALL our pupils to perform in our local, regional and West End shows.
Our classes of acting, singing and dancing are taught in age groups 6-9, 9-12 and 13-18 and our Minis class for 4-6 year olds. Our curriculum provides a step by step understanding of the performing arts and previous experience isn't necessary.
We have high expectations of our pupils and we ask for energy, enthusiasm and commitment in the work. Our teachers are experienced professionals chosen for their experience and enthusiasm.
