In a nutshell

A comedy drama performed by the newly formed East London drama group, Mind, Body and Soul funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.

Go on…

The award winning team David Fielding (The Killing Class, Bloody Love) and Suzann McLean (This Child, Catcher, Rebellion) bring you a heartfelt comedy drama The Half Stitched Healing Club.

Set in a run-down church hall in Ilford, 12 women gather to stitch away their pain under the guidance of Greek Guru Adonis, the master quilter. Friendships, desire, love and life are explored as the tension of the story is kept at a constantly exhilarating pitch. The characters are completely diverse in their racial, cultural and generational compositions which lends to the dynamic realism of their personal situations and journeys throughout the story.

'Sewing isn't the only thing these women signed up for!'
